Format Rounding

Description

Edit the rounding and truncation settings for table and text styles.

Control Description
Round To Select the rounding option.
Truncate Select one of the following truncation options:
  • None - Apply rounding only.
  • Trailing Zeros - Remove trailing zeros from the rounded number.
  • Decimal Point - Remove the decimal point and trailing zeros if the only digits following the decimal point are zeros.
  • Both - Remove trailing zeros, then if there are no remaining numbers after the decimal point, remove the decimal point.
Notes
  • Use to define rounding and truncation for:
    • coordinate, attribute, contour, angle, chainage and combined text styles.
    • coordinate properties and numeric attribute data in a table style.
  • The Truncate and Round To options are dependent on the style Type and the General settings.
  • Truncation is applied to the rounded number.
Example

The following are examples of the resulting text when the different Truncate options are used with distances.

The following are examples of the resulting text when the different Truncate options are used with angles.
