| Name |
Enter the name for the style. |

Enter the description for the style. |

Select the linear unit for the style. |
| Format |
Specify the parameters to insert in the text object using the following notation:
- Type ❴0❵ to insert the contour height. (Required)
- Type ❴1❵ to insert the height units. (Optional)
Note:
- Text parameters are inserted in the order specified.
- Units displayed in the text object are the units defined for the text style. These units can be different to the project units.
- You can insert additional text to be displayed with the linked text objects.
- Multi-line text is supported.

Reverse the sign of the value being displayed. |

| Notes |
- Contour text styles are used to create linked text objects that display the height value of contour lines.
- Use the Clip Lines to Text tool to clip the lines so they do not overlap the contour text.
- Reversed can be used in hydrographic projects to display depths as positive values.
