Description |
Name |
Type the name to assign to the created object or click to use the next available auto incremented name. |
Mode |
Select one of the following:
- Radiation - Create a vertex by bearing and distance from the From point.
- Traverse - Create a vertex by bearing and distance from the previously created vertex.
|
From |
The vertex from which the bearing and distance is measured.
Note:
- For traverse mode, if a line, alignment or polygon is in the process of being created, the objects last vertex is used.
|
Bearing |
Input the bearing from the From vertex.
Note:
|
Distance |
Select one of the following methods to input the distance from the From vertex.
- Grid Distance - Input a distance corrected for slope, sea level, geoid separation and scale factor.
- Ellipsoid Distance - Input a distance corrected for slope, sea level, geoid separation.
- Ground Distance - Input a distance corrected for slope only.
- Local Plane Distance - Input a distance that has a local scale factor applied.
- Slope Distance - Input a slope distance.
Note:

Height Method |
Select one of the following methods to input a height for the vertex:
|
From vertex as origin |
When creating lines do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to create single segmented radial lines from the From vertex.
- Clear the checkbox to compute vertices from the from point, but construct lines from the previous vertex in the line. If a line is not already under construction the computed vertex becomes the first vertex in the line.
Note:
- Available when creating lines in Radiation mode.
