Controls |
The controls available will depend on the height method selected.

Description |
Height Method |
Select one of the following methods to input a height for the selected vertices:
|
Vertex |
Input the vertex to modify.
- If an object or objects are currently selected in the model view, this control is disabled.
|
Insert vertices at terrain model face edges |
Do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to insert vertices into selected lines, alignments or polygons where they intersect with the terrain model face edges. The vertices heights are interpolated from the terrain model.
- Clear the checkbox to only modify the heights of the selected vertices.
Note:
- This control is available when the Height Method is configured to Terrain Model.
- Selecting the checkbox will insert vertices for all selected objects, regardless of if the existing vertices in the line are modified.
- Vertices are inserted into straight segments only.
|
Update vertices with non-default heights |
Do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to modify the heights of all selected vertices.
- Clear the checkbox to only modify the heights of the selected vertices which have a default height.
|
|
Notes |
-
You can use the Modify Height tool:
- for objects selected in the model view. Click OK to modify the height.
- by keying in a vertex. Click OK to modify the height.
- by picking a single vertex from the model view. The height is updated instantaneously.
- If modifying the height of vertices will break the geometry of any objects, no modification is made to any of the selected vertices.
- Vertices with default heights that overlap the terrain model can have new heights interpolated.
- To modify the heights of vertices in a point cloud, use the Modify Shift tool.
