Create terrain models by various techniques.

Terrain module

Terrain models can be created by the following techniques:

• Approximate Offset
• Existing Objects
• Merge Terrain Models
• Terrain Model Intersection

• Clear the Use name as layer checkbox to create terrain models on the active layer.
• Select the Use name as layer checkbox to create a new layer for the terrain model.
• The Appearance properties of terrain models are set by the layer but can be overridden via the Attributes tab.
• Automatically created attributes are displayed on the Attributes tab.
• If you validate a terrain model that segments, straights, curves, splines or transitions, temporary vertices may be created for lines or polygons. These vertices may be referred to in the error messages. If you can't find the vertices mentioned in the terrain model validation report, you can create the terrain model, resolve the errors and then delete the terrain model and reform it.
• To delete a terrain model, click then select Terrain Models and select the terrain model. Click
