Description |
Add, view, edit, delete, validate or process measurements.
|
Access |
Measurements / View / / All / Measurements
|
Requirements |
Measurements imported via an appropriate Data Import or entered via manual input.
|
Edit Tools |
The following editing tools may be available depending upon the Measurements node selected.
Control |
Description |
 |
Create a new configuration item. |
 |
Edit the selected configuration item. |
 |
Delete the selected configuration items. |
|
Controls |
The following processing tools may be available depending upon the Measurements node selected.
Control |
Description |
 |
Edit the measurement processing options. |
 |
For the selected measurements:
- Perform the selected adjustment
- Reduce the measurements
Note:
- Coordinates and objects are not updated in the model view.

Nodes |
The following Measurements nodes display:
|
Status Symbols |
Status symbols may display near the Measurements nodes.
Status |
Description |
 |
Observations have not been processed. |
 |
Observations have been successfully processed and the resultant coordinates have been used to update the vertex. |
 |
An observation has been modified and it is recommended that the observations are re processed. |
 |
Observations has been processed however errors were detected in the data. |
 |
Observation have been processed however a tolerance has been exceeded. |
- Only one status symbol is displayed per measurement node. Resolving a
symbol may expose a or symbol.
|
Notes |
- Deleting a configuration item results in any measurements linked to the item also being deleted.
- Selecting an instrument node in the left-hand pane will display the related data in the right-hand pane.
- Expand an instrument node in the left-hand pane to display measurements.
- The selection in the left-hand-pane will determine the observations included in the data processing.
- Manual data input of total stations data requires new Total Stations, Reflectors and Field Parties in the Configuration node.
- Manual data input of level data requires new Levels, Staves and Field Parties in the Configuration node.
- Results must be processed (not simply validated) to resolve
status symbols as a validation does not apply the changes.
