Customise the ePlan Victoria Template

Customise the LISTECH - ePlan Victoria template to include commonly used layers, coordinates systems, import and export options, attributes, options (for display, naming, precision, reports and units) and text styles.

Customise

Edit your LISTECH -ePlan Victoria template to contain commonly used values and settings. The following table shows items specific to ePlan that you may choose to customise.

Customisable Item	ePlan Victoria Notes
Coordinate System	Set the Coordinate System you commonly use. If you use both MGA Zone 54 and MGA zone 55 create an additional ePlan Victoria template.
Layer	To create layers in the ePlan template clone the Default layer. This ensures the ePlan attribute definitions are preserved. Name- Specific layer names are not required. If the layer names are not identical to imported data, use Lookup Tables to map layers. Intended Use- Select the intended use for the layer. If a layer will be used for points, lines and polygons select Generic. Using different layers for points, lines and polygons reduces the amount of attributes available for an object. See Add or Edit an Attribute definition - General.
Import Options	Lookup Table- Select a lookup table to map layers in your data file to layers defined in your ePlan Project .
Export Options	Extended Report- Select the checkbox to display an export report that shows specific errors. Shorter reports show the amount of each error type. Online Validation- Select the checkbox to send the created ePlan LandXml file directly to Land Use Victoria for validation. An ePlan Validation Report is created based on the results returned from the web service. Curve Tolerances - Enter the maximum offset distance from a Line to the chord between adjacent vertices in the Line. Use this value to control the smoothness of Circular Arcs and Splines that need to be output as Straight Line segments.
Edit Attribute definitions	Edit Project or Layer Attribute Definitions to contain commonly used values. For example: Project Attributes/@Firm Name- Add your firm name to the list. Project Attributes/@Surveyor Registration Number- Add your registration number to the list. Project Attributes/Easements/@Beneficiary- Add common beneficiaries to the list. Point Layer Attribute/@Point State - Make the default state existing. Edit Layer Attribute Definitions to restrict the attributes available. For example: @Annotation Type- Restrict the list to annotations that are required for the layer. @Parish - Remove the Parish attribute for layers that do not require this, for example the easement layer.
