Controls

Control	Description
	Set the active layer.
	Create a new layer.
	Create a copy of the active layer.
	Edit the active layer.
	Set the layer of the selected object as the active layer.
	Turn off layers that do not contain objects in the current selection.
	Turn off layers that contain objects in the current selection.

Notes

Control the layers that appear in the Active Layer list using the Layers tool Filter.
You cannot select a reference file layer as the Active Layer
