Reverse an Object

Reverse the direction of line, alignment or polygon segments.

• Reverse:
  • A single object - Input the object to reverse. The segments are reversed automatically.
  • A selection of objects - Click OK to reverse line, alignment and polygon segments in the current selection.
• Press Esc or select another tool to finish reversing objects.
• Bearing, grade and offset text linked to a reversed line will be updated with the new segment direction.
• Chainage text linked to a reverse alignment will updated automatically.
• Distances and back chainages in chainage equations are recomputed./
• Reverse the line segment linked to offset text, to reverse the sign of the offset.
• Reverse the line segment linked to grade text, to reverse the sign of the grade.
• Bearing and grade text linked to a reversed polygon will continue to display text as if the polygons were created in a clockwise direction. Clear the Reverse direction checkbox in the Attributes tool window to display the text using the direction of the polygon segment.
