Description |
Name |
Type the name to assign to the created point or click to use the next available auto incremented name. |
Object |
Input a line line, alignment or shape (pipe). |
Chainage |
Input the chainage along the line, alignment or pipe.
|
Offset |
Input the offset from the Object.
|
Height Method |
Select one of the following methods to input a height for the vertex:
|
|
Notes |
- You can create a point, offset from a line, alignment or shape (pipe).
- A negative offset indicates the offset is to the left of the object.
- The chainage is measured from the start of the line, alignment or pipe (shape). You can reverse the object to reverse the direction of the chainage.
- Only straight segments can be projected at the start and the end of the object.
- A negative chainage will create a point before the start of the object.
- Configure Distance Type in Unit Options.
- Chainage equations may result in multiple solutions for a keyed in chainage, in which case the Duplicate Chainage dialog will display.
