| Controls |
The following controls are available.
| Control |
Description |
| Name |
Name assigned to the created object. |
 |
Use the next available auto incremented name. |
| Mode |
Select one of the following:
- Radiation - Create the next vertex from the same From point
- Traverse - Create the next vertex from the previously created vertex.
|
| From |
Input the start vertex. |
| Reference Direction |
Input the direction from which to measure the angle. |
| Angle |
Type the angle from the reference direction.
Note:
- Positive angles are clockwise and negative angles are anti-clockwise.
|
| Distance |
Input the distance from the From vertex.
|
| Height Method |
Select one of the following methods to input a height for the vertex:
|
|
| Notes |
- Negative angles and distances can be entered.
- Select direction type and distance type in Units Options.
- If a plane coordinate system is selected for the project some of the direction and distance options will not be available.
- When creating a polygon the From vertex is the first vertex in the polygon.
- When additional vertices are created in Traverse Mode, the From vertex and Reference Direction are automatically entered.
