Configure Setout

(This functionality is available with the Survey Live module)

Used to configure setout options.

This page is accessed from the Configure activity via the Config button in the Survey Live main dialog, or the Setup, Survey or Setout activities.

Item	Used to
Show point elevation field	Specify whether the point elevation field is shown in the Setout/Setout page.
Show elevation offset field	Specify whether the elevation offset field is shown in the Setout/Setout page.
Measurement File:	Specify a measurement file. A measurement file is an SEE file in which the setout points will be stored. If None is selected, setout points will not be stored.
Browse:	Browse to the folder from which you wish to select a measurement file.
Check setout position before storing	Only store points if the horizontal position of the point being setout is within tolerance.
Horizontal Tolerance	Specify the horizontal tolerance. Note: This field is only visible if "Check setout position before storing" is checked.
Check setout elevation before storing	Only store points if the vertical position of the point being setout is within tolerance.
Vertical tolerance	Specify the vertical tolerance. Note: This field is only visible if "Check setout elevation before storing" is checked.
Store point Id with:	Specify how setout Point ID's are stored. The available options are: 1. Prefix - Store all setout points with a specific prefix. 2. Suffix - Store all setout points with a specific suffix. 3. Setout point Id - Store all setout points with the same ID as the point being setout. This is only applicable if a measurement file is being used and/or "Log to field file" is checked from the General Configuration page.
Prefix	Set the prefix to be used with Point ID's. This is only applicable if "Store point Id with" is set to Prefix.
Suffix	Set the suffix to be used with Point ID's. This is only applicable if "Store point Id with" is set to Suffix.
Move relative to:	Specify what to move relative to in order to arrive at the specified setout point. The available options are Instrument, Target, North & South when the Sensor Type is Total Station. When the Sensor Type is GNSS the options are North or South.
Automatically turn horizontally to point	Tell the instrument to automatically turn horizontally to the specified setout point. (Only available for Total Station instrument type with relevant instruments or demonstration mode)
Automatically turn vertically to point	Tell the instrument to automatically turn vertically to the specified setout point. (Only available for Total Station instrument type with relevant instruments or demonstration mode)
