MRWA Submission - Subdivision

Description

Instruction for setting up a project to create a pdf or subdivision dxf for a MRWA submission.

Project Attributes

In a project using the MRWA template, add the following project attribute.

Project Attribute	Description
Titles Office Number	Type the titles office number for the subdivision. This will be used to name the generated dxf file.

Objects

Subdivision objects are required for the:

Creation of some annotations required in the dxf file for a MRWA Sewer and Water submission.
Creation of the PDF file using the CAD module.
Creation of a MRWA subdivision dxf file.

The specific layers and attributes are only important if you want to export a subdivision file in the MRWA dxf format or create text using text rules.

Subdivision Object	Object Type	Layer	Notes
Parcel Boundary	Line	Lot	Used to measure ties to property connections and export to a MRWA subdivision dxf file.
Road Alignment / Road Reserve Boundary	Line	Road	Use when: Creating a pdf in CAD Creating offset text to pipes for a water or sewer submission Exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision dxf file. Add the defined attributes for the layer.
Easement	Line	Easement	Use when: Used when creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision dxf file. Type the Easement description into the description attribute.
Reserve Boundary	Line	Reserve	Used when creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file.
Road Name	Text	Road	Used to name roads if you are creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file. Use the 'Road Name' text rule to create the text from the roads attributes.
Easement Text	Text	Easement	Used when creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision dxf file. Use the attribute text style Easement Description to create the text from the easement attribute.
Parcel	Polygon	Lot	Used to number lots if you are creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file.
Lot Number	Text	Lot	Used to number lots if you are creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file.
Reserve	Polygon	Reserve	Used to name reserves if you are creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file.
Reserve Text	Text	Reserve	Used to name a reserve if you are creating a pdf in CAD or exporting to a Melbourne Water subdivision file.

Notes

Use layer groups to manage all layers related to a subdivision.
