Colour Inversion Do one of the following:
  • Select the checkbox to invert colours when they are the same as the drawing view sheet colour.
  • Clear the checkbox to retain the original object colour regardless of the drawing view sheet colour. You can use this setting to hide objects in a drawing.
Note:
  • Each viewport and each table has it's own colour inversion setting.
Plot in Black Select the checkbox to plot white objects (FFFFFF) as white and all other object colours as black. Use this for printers that plot in grey scale when 'Black and White' colour is selected in the Printer Properties.
Notes
  • The Drawing Number must be unique across all drawings.
  • The Sheet Number must be unique within each Sheet Set, however two different Sheet Sets can share the same Sheet Numbers.
  • The Drawing Number and Sheet Number are initially inherited from the template. If the number from the template is already used the number is incremented until a unique number is found.
  • The Sheet Set and then the Drawing Number determines the print order.
  • Margins are drawn with dashed lines.
  • The Sheet Number must be unique within an unnamed Sheet Set.
  • Polygons with a Fill Colour, By Background, will always display using the background colour regardless of the Colour Inversion configuration. Use the By Background setting to colour a polygon that you want to use to block out objects or a portion of an object that you do not want to display in the plan.
  • Text background colour is never inverted.
  • Text displayed with a background has its colour inverted when the text is the same colour as the background and Colour Inversion is selected.
  • When plotting, you can merge drawings with the same printer and page size.
  • If you select Plot in Black:
    • Colour Inversion is always applied prior to Plot in Black. A white object may be inverted to black due to colour inversion.
    • You can turn off colour inversion for tables, drawings and viewports to prevent some white objects being inverted.
    • Both text background and text may display in black. Ensure your text is white or the background is white.
    • Images and terrain model faces and polygons with the fill colour set to a colour band, will not be printed in black.
