Edit a Layer Text Style (General)

Description

Edit the general settings for a layer text style.
Access

Manage / Configuration / Text / Styles / Layer / Insert a new item or Edit selected item / General
Controls
Control Description
Name Enter the name for the style.
Description Enter the description for the style.
Format Specify the parameters to insert in the text object using the following notation:
  • Type ❴0❵ to insert the layer name.
  • Type ❴1❵ to insert the layer description.
Note:
  • Text parameters are inserted in the order specified.
  • Units displayed in the text object are the units defined for the text style. These units can be different to the project units.
  • You can insert additional text to be displayed with the linked text objects.
Notes
  • Layer text styles are used to create linked text objects that display the name or description of the layer the object is on.
