Format |
Select one of the following formats:
Delimited - Values in the text file are separated by a Delimiter.
Fixed Width - The text file contains columns of fixed width.

Delimiter |
For delimited files, select the method used to separate values in the file. |
Skip Lines |
Type the number of rows in the file header to ignore. |
Minimum Height |
Type the allowable minimum height for a point. |
Maximum Height |
Type the allowable maximum height for a point. |
Layer Lookup Table |
Select a lookup table to map layers or codes in the file to layers in the project.
Note:
- A blank selection indicates that no lookup will be performed.

Control Codes |
Select a control code table to use when codes are processed (Optional). |
Process Codes |
Do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to process codes on import, joining points where appropriate using control codes, string codes or the intended use of the layer.
- Clear the checkbox to place points on the appropriate layer. String codes and the intended use of a layer are ignored. Control codes are treated as feature codes.

Units |
Click units to define the units for the values in the imported file. |
Columns |
Map columns in the file to project attributes:
- Select the checkbox in the Active column to map values in the file to the attribute.
- To ignore a column in the file, select an <Ignore> checkbox.
- Click
or to move the selected row up or down the order.
- Press and hold Shift then click

to move the selected row to the top or bottom of the order.

Click to cancel the import but retain any saved changes to the Configuration Set. |
