Controls

The following controls are available.

Control Description
Name Type the name to be assigned to the created object or click Next auto incremented name to use the next available auto incremented name.
Next auto incremented name Use the next available auto incremented name.
Centre Centre vertex for the circular arc. Do one of the following:
  • Enter the point name
  • Enter the vertex id in the form id:Unique ID
  • Select the vertex from the model view
Radius Input the Radius.
3D circular arc Do one of the following:
  • Select the checkbox to create the arc in 3 dimensions.
  • Clear the checkbox to exclude the vertices heights from the arc calculations.
Notes
  • The circle is created at the height of the centre vertex.
  • If 3D is cleared:
    • Distances input are interpreted as 2 dimensional distances.
    • Heights are not used to compute the arc components.
    • Lines will display as a circular arcs in the Plan view.
    • Vertices heights are used to display the curve in 3D view.
