Availability: Computations module.
Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Create/Spiral command and the Method/End Tangent, Length & Radii command.

  • The OK Button creates the spiral object, a new start point and centre points.

Notes:
  • elevation control
  • The maximum radius will be the radius at the start point and the minimum radius will be the radius at the end point.
  • Negative radii creates the spiral to the left of the tangent, positive to the right. Both radii must be positive or negative.
  • Tangent bearing set will be the tangent at the start point.
  • The spiral created will be given the currently defined line attributes..
  • The new start point created will be given the attributes of the currently defined point attribute.
  • The new centre points created will be given the next construction point identifier and the attributes defined by the construction point code.
