Point Identifier Controls

These controls allow the user to enter or select a Point Identifier.

Type Action Functions
Standard Data Entry
  • Keyboard entry of new or existing Point Identifier.
  • Can snap/accept to an existing point.
Restricted Data Entry
  • Keyboard entry of new or existing Point Identifier.
  • Can snap/accept to an existing point.
  • Can snap/accept to an text object or section marker to obtain the underlying position of that point.
  • Can accept on the screen obtain the underlying position of that point.
New Data Entry
  • Keyboard entry of new Point Identifier.
  • Can snap/accept to an existing point, text object or section marker to obtain the underlying position of that point.
  • Can accept on the screen obtain the underlying position of that point.
New Only Data Entry
  • Only keyboard entry of new Point Identifier.
Existing Data Entry
  • Only keyboard entry of existing Point Identifier.
  • Can snap/accept to an existing point only.
Existing List Data Entry
  • Keyboard entry of existing Point Identifier.
  • Keyboard entry of existing Point Range. This range can be entered in reverse order. Example (1..4)
  • Multiple keyboard entry of existing Point Identifiers and/or Point Ranges, separated by a space. Example (1 6 10..20 5)
  • Can snap/accept to an existing point.
