-
The Elevation Drop Down will only be available
if the elevation attribute is active.
-
The offset (i.e. distance) which is measured
in a perpendicular direction from the existing line to the new line
and points being created.
-
A negative offset will be applied to the left
of the existing line, whereas a positive offset will be applied
to the right, according to the general direction defined by the
Line Identifier
-
The angular geometry of the new line will
be identical to the line on which the operation was based. If the
line on which the operation was based contained bends, then the
distances along the new line will not be the same as those along
the existing line.
-
The points created will be given the attributes
of the currently defined
point
attribute
.
-
The new line created will be given the attributes
currently defined line attribute.
-
The identifier in the new point identifier
control will be used for the first new point and any subsequent
new points will automatically use the next unused point identifier.
-
If the system is in other than grid distances,
the offset used will be the grid offset computed at the first point
of the existing line.
- If the selected line is a spiral, the resulting parallel line will be a spline.
