Display Features - Features Tab

The Display Features tab controls what object types are to be displayed and under what conditions they should be displayed. Any objects that are not displayed will not be used by LISCAD functionality, nor is it possible to snap to objects unless they are displayed.

Polygons Turns the display of Polygons on and off.
Selecting Polygons for display does not alter the display unless the display of one or more of the polygon details is also activated.
As the perimeter of a polygon may include lines, arcs, splines, splays, radiations, or a circle, you must ensure that the display of those features is also active if you wish to see the polygon edges.
Text Turns the display of Text on and off.
General
Main Points Only Main points.
>If Main Points is active, then only the Main Points can have their identifiers displayed, and duplicate points which are not main points cannot have their point identifiers displayed.

This feature is only available if the data set uses non-unique point identifiers.
Apply Rounding Rounding
If rounding is active, then co-ordinates, elevations angles, bearings, distances, and areas will be displayed or output rounded according to their particular rounding attributes.
If rounding is inactive, then co-ordinates, elevations, angles, bearings, distances, and areas will be displayed or output according to their precision.
Rounding attributes are set for any particular object type using the appropriate command in the Computations/Attributes menu. The rounding attributes of any object may be edited using the appropriate command in the Computations/Edit/Attributes menu.
The definition and effect of the various rounding and precision settings may be altered using the appropriate command in the Utilities/Configure menu.
Refer to the Rounding and Precision topic for further information.
Display Disabled Objects If this option is active, disabled objects will be displayed in the disabled object colour. This is useful if you wish to view disabled objects so that you can enable them. Regardless of whether disabled objects are displayed or otherwise, they cannot be used by any functionality other than enabling. This is a 3 state check box that works in conjunction with the Points, Lines and Text property pages. Turning this on or off on the Features property page affects all Points, Lines and Text. If this check box is in a greyed state it indicates that Points, Lines and Text disabled states are not set the same.
Use Colour Number Colours
If this option is active, then objects will be displayed in the colour assigned to their colour number attribute. Colours assigned to colour numbers may be changed in the Configure/Colour command.
If this option is inactive, then objects will be displayed according to the object colours set in the Configure/Colour command.
Activating this check box enables the user to visually verify that objects have the required colours before creating a CAD file.
Apply Block Objects defined by a currently active block.
If this check box is active, then only those objects that satisfy the currently active block criteria will be displayed. Refer to the Block topic for further information about blocks and their use.

If the display of any feature is inactive, then its attributes will also not be displayed even if the details are checked as active. For example, if points is inactive, then point identifier cannot be displayed.

Objects which have a group attribute that is not selected for display in the Display/Groups command, cannot be displayed, even if they are of a feature type selected for display in this command.
