The Block criteria are common to both Freehand and Polygon Blocks. They are used to determine whether an object satisfies the Block or not.
Block Criteria Dialog Box
Item | Used to |
Region | |
Inside | Set the block region of interest as being inside the perimeter of the block. |
Outside | Set the block region of interest as being outside the perimeter of the block. |
Condition | |
Enclosed | Set an enclosed condition for the block. Only those objects that wholly fulfil the region condition will be considered as satisfying the block (i.e. totally inside or totally outside). |
Overlapped | Set an overlap condition for the block. Objects that overlap the block perimeter will also be considered as satisfying the block. |
Include Coincident Points | If this is checked then any points lying exactly on the perimeter of the Block will be considered
as satisfying the Block. If it is not checked then points coincident with the perimeter will not be considered to satisfy the Block. |
