Display FeaturesDisplay Features: Cross Section View

Governs what information is displayed in the cross section view.

On selecting the Display / Features command, the following tab options become available.

Cross Sections tab option
Cross Section List all cross sections currently displayed in the active cross section window. Select the cross section that you want to change the display features of.
Point Attributes group

This group determines what point information is to be displayed at the nominated locations.
Elevation Toggle the display of cross section elevations.
Offset Toggle the display of offset distances from the centre line.
Identifier Toggle the display of object identifiers.
Description Toggle the display of object descriptions.
Code Toggle the display of object codes.
Cuts Toggle the display of depth of 'cut' between two cross sections.
Fills Toggle the display of depth of 'fill' between two cross sections.
Note: The Cuts and Fills check boxes will be greyed out if a base cross section set has not been defined, or only one cross section set is being displayed in the window.

Display at all Locations group
Point Crosses Toggle the display of point crosses.
Symbol Toggle the display of symbols.
Line Attribute group

This group determines what cross section line information is to be displayed.
Section name Toggle the display of the cross section set name.
Grade Line Toggle the display of the cross section grade lines. The grades between successive points in the cross section are shown in the middle pane, between the cross section and the table. The grades are calculated and displayed with respect to the direction of the grade segment always being away from offset zero.
Locations group

This group determines the positions at which attributes are displayed.
Alignments Toggle the display of selected Point Attributes at the alignment position.
Crossing Breaklines Toggle the display of selected Point Attributes where a breakline crosses the cross section.
Crossing Planimetric Lines Toggle the display of selected Point Attributes where a planimetric line crosses the cross section.
Model Intersections Toggle the display of selected Point Attributes at the intersection of model triangles that the cross section cuts through.
Corridor of Interest Boundaries Toggle the display of Point Attributes at the position of the corridor of interest.
Points Within Range Toggle the display of Point Attributes for all points that are within the specified range as defined by the Points Within Range parameter in the Cross Section Parameters dialog.
Section Edges Toggle the display of Point Attributes at the edge of the cross section.
Computed Points Toggle the display of points that are created in the cross section view using one of the Edit/Create Points commands.
Custom Points Toggle the display of custom points.
Template Toggle the display of Point Attributes of points generated by creating a cross section by applying a template implementation set.
Daylight Points Toggle the display of Point Attributes at daylight points.
User Defined Interval Toggle the display of selected Point Attributes at a user defined offset interval.
This value must be positive non-zero and will only be available if the User Defined Interval check box is selected.
Apply to All Sections Assign the current display attributes to all cross sections displayed in the cross section view.
Layout tab option
Grid Group
Offset Toggle the display of the Offset grid.

The interval of the Offset grid can be set in the Interval field, and labels for the grid values can be displayed by selecting the Label check box.
Elevation Toggle the display of the Elevation grid.

The interval of the Elevation grid can be set in the Interval field, and labels for the grid values can be displayed by selecting the Label check box.
Centre Line Toggle the display of the cross section centre line.
Reverse View Toggle the Reverse View of the cross section.
Table Group
The List Box shows all the rows of information that are currently displayed in the Table View section on the Cross Section Window.
Up Move the entry in the list box up one line.
Down Move the entry in the list box down one line.
OK Save any changes and close the dialog box.
Cancel Close the dialog box without saving any changes.
System Hold all the settings so that they can be used for any new cross section sets that are created.
