Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Create/Arc command and the Method/Chord Distance command.

  • The OK Button creates the arc and new end radial point.

Notes:
  • The Elevation Drop Down will only be available if the elevation attribute is active.
  • If the elevation difference control is selected from the Elevation Drop Down, the elevation difference entered will be applied to each new point progressively.
  • If the grade control is selected from the Elevation Drop Down, the grade entered will be applied progressively along each chord.
  • The new end radial point created will be given the attributes of the currently defined point attribute.
  • The arc will be given the line attributes currently defined and will be created in a clockwise or anti clockwise direction from the first radial point depending on the arc direction attribute.
  • A negative chord distance will reverse the arc direction from that currently set.
