Description |
| Mode |
Select one of the following modes for creating curves:
- Circular Curve
- Grade
- Parabola
- Parabola (Asymmetric)
|
| Vertical Intersection Point |
Input a vertical intersection Point.
Note:
- Vertical intersection points at the start and end of the long section cannot be modified.
|
| Arc Component |
Select one of the following:
- Curve Length - Input the Length of the circular arc or parabola.
- Radius - Type the radius for the circular arc.
- K-Value - Type the K-value for the parabola.
|
| Curve Length In: |
Type the length of the entry curve for a asymmetric parabola. |
| Curve Length Out: |
Type the length of the exit curve for a asymmetric parabola. |
|
| Notes |
- Click Solve to preview the curve in the long section view.
- Click OK to insert the curve.
- Select the Mode 'Grade', to remove a curve from a vertical intersection point. The curve is removed automatically when a vertical intersection point is picked.
- If a curve with the specified parameters cannot be fit to the Vertical Intersection Point, the point will display as a grade point. Select the point in the long section view and edit the curve parameters in the Attributes tool window.
