View or edit the long section points created for the long section.

Requirements

A selected long section or long section point.

Controls

The properties displayed are dependent on the point type and the method used to insert the curve.

Control Description
Point Count The number of points in the selected long section.
Point Index Type the point index or click Scroll up or Scroll down to scroll through the long sections points.
Unique Id The unique id of the point.
Distance The points distance from the start of the alignment.
Chainage The points chainage from the start of the alignment.
Height The height of the long section point.
Length The length of a circular curve or parabolic segment.
Length In The entry length of the asymmetrical parabolic curve.
Length Out The exit length of the asymmetrical parabolic curve.
Radius The radius of the circular curve.
K-Value The K-Value for the parabolic curve.
Type The type of long section point:
  • Grade - Start and end points and grade to grade intersections.
  • Circular - Intersection point for the circular arc.
  • Parabola - Intersection point for the parabolic curve.
  • Transition - Tangent Points or points where the segment type transitions.
  • Sag/Crest - Highest or lowest point on the curve.
Source Type How the point was created.
  • Computed - The original point computed for the long section.
  • Modified - Indicates the point has been moved.
Source Object ID The unique identifier of the object the long section point was computed from.
Source Vertex ID The unique identifier of the vertex that the points height was computed from.
Notes
  • To display the points in the long section view, select Key, Curve Intersection, Sag/Crest and Isolated in the Features category in the long sections display options.
  • To display the points labels in the model view, select Long Section Labels in the models display options.
