When tentatively picking the Long section in the long section view, view the point identifier where the long section will be broken. |
- Picking a Long section from a long section view will automatically break the long section at the vertical intersection point closest to the mouse pointer.
- The created long section inherits the layer of the first object.
- The created long section retains the original chainages.
- Breaking an alignment at a vertical intersection point of type parabola or curve will convert the vertical intersection points to type 'Grade'. Curves will only be maintained if the alignment is broken at the intersection of two straights.
- The second long section will be renamed.
- Gaps in a long section are discarded if the long section is broken at the gap.
