The controls available are dependent on the Type selected.

| Type | Select the object type. |
| Appearance |
Edit the appearance properties for each object type. |
| Pipe |
Edit the geometry properties for pipe shapes. |
| Dimension Attribute |
Edit the dimension attributes for points, lines, blocks and shapes. |
| Text | Click the Colour control then click  and select a colour for the layers table text. |
| Border | Edit the border properties for tables. |
| Cell | Edit the cell properties for tables. |
| Point Appearance | Edit the appearance of long section points in a long section view. |
| Line Appearance | Edit the appearance of long section lines in a long section view. |
| Droplines | Define the display of droplines in a long section view. |
- Display properties are used as a default when the object is created.
- Object properties set to 'By Layer' use the current display properties of the layer.
- Select any property to edit its value.
- Appearance dimensions are used when dimension attributes are not available.
- Editing the appearance properties could change the appearance of objects on locked layers.
