Geometry Attributes

The coordinate types displayed are determined by the Unit Options settings.

Attribute Description
Unique Id The unique identifier of the objects vertex.
Easting The easting coordinate of the vertex, displayed when you select 'Grid' as the coordinate type.
Northing The northing coordinate of the vertex, displayed when you select 'Grid' as the coordinate type.
Height Displays the orthometric height of the vertex .
Latitude The latitude coordinate of the vertex, displayed when you select 'Geographic' as the coordinate type.
Longitude The northing coordinate of the vertex, displayed when you select 'Geographic' as the coordinate type.
Ellipsoid Height Displays the vertices computed height above the ellipsoid.
Has Default Height Select the box to use the default height for vertices where the height is unknown.
Coordinate Class Displays the coordinate class used to classify the vertex.
Notes
  • The Coordinate Type configured in the unit options, determines if the grid or geographic coordinates are displayed.
  • Coordinates are displayed in the current units.
  • Only grid coordinates are displayed for a plane projection.
  • Specify a geoid model or a default geoid undulation in the coordinate system definition to display ellipsoid heights.
  • (Default) is shown after the ellipsoid height value if the default geoid undulation is used to compute the height.
  • The default height is used for computing corrections that require an approximate height and for display purposes.
  • If a user coordinate system is selected, X,Y,Z coordinates are displayed.
  • You can run the 'Line and Polygon Segments Report' to view the vertex coordinates for a line or polygon.
