Control |
Description |
Mode |
Select one of the following:
- Vertex - Compute the angle at a vertex of a multisegment line.
- Vertices - Compute the angle between 3 vertices
- Reference Line - Compute the angle at the intersection between two linear objects or reference lines.
|
Vertex |
Insert the vertex from a multisegment line that lies in between the 2 line segments that you require the angle between. |
Vertex From |
Insert the vertex. |
Vertex At |
Insert the vertex. |
Vertex To |
Insert the vertex. |
Reference Line |
Insert the reference lines that you require angles between. |
Clockwise |
Displays the computed clockwise horizontal angle. |
Anticlockwise |
Displays the computed anticlockwise horizontal angle. |
3D |
Displays the computed three dimensional angle. |
|
Notes |
- Angles are displayed using the current angle units and precision settings.
- Angles are measured from the first vertex or linear object picked.
- When a vertex is picked from a multisegment line, the lines direction determines which segment the angle is measured from.
- When the mode is configured to 'Reference Line', a value is displayed for the 3D angle only when the lines intersect in 3 dimensions.
