Adds or edits an image service and allows the image cache to be cleared.

- Image Connect module
- An active Internet connection
- URL to a compatible image service
- A project configured with a ellipsoid based coordinate system

| Name | Enter a name to identify the image service. |
| Description | Enter a description for the image service. |
| URL | Enter the URL for the image service. |
| Connect | Establish a connection to the image service. |
| User Name | Enter the user name for the image service. |
| Password | Enter the password for the image service. |
| Layer | Select the layer to use from the image service provided list. |
| Style | Select the style to use for the layer from the image service provided list. |
| Transformation | Select a transformation to transform the images to the project coordinate system. |
| Clear Cache | Delete all cached images for the image service. |
| OK | Add or update the image service in the list. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the changes. |
- An Internet connection that allows access to the image service URL must be available.
- To populate the Layer and Style controls you must successfully establish a connection to the image service by pressing Connect.
- Images downloaded from image services are cached on the hard disk of your computer. The location of the cache can be configured via General Options.
- To enable the Clear Cache control you must successfully establish a connection to the image service by pressing Connect.
- The image service must support Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) or Web Map Service (WMS) protocol.
- The WMS Layer selected must support geographic coordinates.
