Description

Edit the appearance of a grid in the drawing views.

Controls
Display Controls Description
Style Select the style of the grid display:
  • Cross - Displays a cross at the corner of each grid cell.
  • Dot - Displays a dot at the corner of each grid cell.
  • Line - Displays intersecting horizontal and vertical lines.
Interval Type the grid interval.
On Select the checkbox to display the grid.
On top Do one of the following:
  • Select the checkbox to display the grid over the top of drawing objects.
  • Clear the checkbox to display the grid behind drawing objects.
Snap Controls Description
Interval Type the interval of an additional undisplayed snap grid used to automatically snap the mouse pointer to while drawing.
On Select the checkbox to snap the mouse pointer to the closest snap grid location.
Notes
  • Grid settings apply to all drawings in the project.
  • Click Grid to toggle the grid display on and off.
  • Click Snap in the Grid menu to toggle snap mode on and off.
  • Grid intervals are displayed in the drawings plan units.
  • You can change the colour of the drawing view grid.
