Description |
Adjustment |
Select the adjustment method to perform when the closure is processed or validated:
- None - Compute coordinates for the To point by applying the bearing and distance measurements to the previous points coordinates. A closure error is not distributed however if the points already exist, their coordinates may be updated.
- Bowditch - Apply a Bowditch adjustment; distributing the total distance error proportionally to the length of the line.
- Crandell - Apply a Crandell adjustment; distributing the error in distances only. (Bearings between the points are preserved.)
- Transit - Apply a Transit adjustment; distributing the total closure error proportionally to the lines change in easting and northing.
|
Create Lines |
Select one of the following:
- None - Don't create lines when the measurements are adjusted.
- Single Segment - Create a single segment line between each adjusted vertex in the closure when the measurements are adjusted.
- Multi-Segment - Create a single multi-segment line between all vertices in the closure when the measurements are adjusted.
|
Create polygons |
Select the checkbox to create a polygon using the adjusted vertices from each closure, then click the Layer box and select a layer to create the polygons on.
Note:
- Leave the Layer box clear to place the polygons on the active layer.
- Only layers with an Intended Use of 'Generic' or 'Polygon' display in the list.
- Polygons will not be created when Adjustment is set to 'None'.
|
Use dimension attributes |
Select the checkbox to do one of the following:
- Use the specified line attributes to fill the bearing and distance values for the closure data grid.
- Populate the specified attributes with the values from the closure data grid when the closure is adjusted to preserve the original values.
Clear the checkbox to use the lines geometry to fill the bearing and distance values for the closure and not populate any attributes when the measurements are adjusted.
Note:
- If a valid value is not found in the specified attribute ******* .
- Attributes are populated or created providing the specified attributes are defined for the Line Layer specified in the closure data grid, or the active layer if the Line Layer is blank.
- Attributes are only populated when lines are single segment.
|
Bearing |
Click then select the attribute to use for the bearing. |
Distance |
Click then select the attribute to use for the distance. |
Chord Bearing |
Click then select the attribute to use for the chord bearing. |
Arc Distance |
Click then select the attribute to use for the distance in the closure data grid when a circular arc line segment is selected, or the arc distance when attributes are populated with the unadjusted value after processing.
Note:
- When using the attribute to fill the data grid, the distance value displays green automatically to indicate that the distance displayed is the arc distance.
|
Radius |
Click then select the attribute to use for the radius. |
Columns |
Select the columns to display in the closure data grid.
Click or to move the selected column forward or back in the column order.
Press Shift, then click or to move the selected column to the top or bottom in the column order.
