Notes |
- You can import symbols, line styles, feature codes, categories, line control codes and attribute definitions.
- The layer lookup table maps codes in the feature definition file to layers in the project.
- A layer is created if the imported code is not associated with an existing layer.
- The intended use of the created layer is determined from the feature definition file.
- Layers are placed in layer groups determined from the categories in the feature definition file.
- A control code table is created when the Trimble feature library is imported, containing definitions for all line control codes from the file.
- For Trimble line control codes similar to 'Start Rectangle', where parameters are optional, two control code definitions are created in the control code table; one that requires parameters and one that does not. The control code definition that requires parameters has a suffix '+' added to the code name. You should edit these control code definitions to ensure the codes used in the field will be processed correctly.
- If control code definitions that involve parameter values being obtained from attributes are enclosed in square brackets the attributes are exported only. The parameters are not obtained from the attributes during processing but from the measurement code where the attribute values are copied on import.
