The following properties allow control of the export.

Description |
| Content |
Displayed - Only visible layers are exported.
All - All layers are exported regardless of whether they are visible.

| Version |
Select the appropriate version of the Trimble FXL file to export. |
| Layer Description |
Do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to export the layer description as the Trimble feature name.
- Clear the checkbox to export the layer name as the Trimble feature name.

A blank selection for a lookup table indicates that no lookup will be performed.

| Notes |
- Trimble items exported include: symbols, line styles, codes, feature names, categories, line control codes, attribute definitions and layers.
- If a layer is not associated with a feature code via a lookup table then the layer name is exported as the code.
- The layers Intended Use setting determines if a point, line or polygon feature definition is exported.
- Layers with an Intended Use set to Generic are not exported.
- Layer names and descriptions must be unique.
- Control code names and descriptions must be unique.
- Feature names display as descriptions in Trimble Access.
- Control code names should not include spaces.

Use [] within the control code table to indicate which control codes you want to export.
- Control codes not enclosed in [] are not exported.
- Control code actions supported by Trimble and that have their codes enclosed in [] are exported as Trimble Line Control Codes.
- Control code actions not supported by Trimble and that have their codes enclosed in [] are exported as features in the 'Control Codes' category.
- Given attributes for control codes are unsupported by Trimble, you should ensure any control code definition enclosed in [] do not rely on attributes to obtain the required parameters.
- You can automatically create a Control Code table by importing a Feature XML file with line control codes.
- Layers belonging to multiple layer groups are exported as codes in one category only.
