Options

The following properties allow control of the import.

General Description
Content Displayed - Only objects that are visible will be imported.
All - All objects are imported regardless of whether they are Visible or not.
Layer as Code - Use the LISCAD SEE code of imported objects as the layer.
Group - Use the LISCAD SEE group of imported objects as the layer.
Import Images Select to import LISCAD photos (not background images).
Colours LISCAD - Use LISCAD colours for imported objects.
AutoCAD - Use AutoCAD colours for imported objects.
MicroStation - Use MicroStation colours for imported objects.
12d Model - Use 12d Model colours for imported objects.
Captivate - Use Leica Captivate colours for imported objects.
Lookup Tables Description
Layer Select the Layer lookup table to be used during the import.
Line Style Select the Line Style lookup table to be used during the import.
Plan Symbol Select the Plan Symbol lookup table to be used during the import.

A blank selection for a lookup table indicates that no lookup will be performed.

Notes
  • LISCAD SEE objects are considered visible if they are on a Group that is turned on and objects of that type are displayed in LISCAD SEE.
  • Objects that can be imported from LISCAD SEE include: points, lines, alignments (horizontal), arcs, circles, splines, polygons, text, images, models, background images, symbols, line styles and hatching.
  • Models are imported onto layers that match the model name.
  • To import a line or polygon as a breakline or boundary, in the LISCAD SEE project, select the breakline and boundary checkboxes.
  • If the active model is not visible in LISCAD SEE and Displayed items are imported then no models are imported.
  • If the active model is visible in LISCAD SEE and Displayed items are imported then only the active model is imported.
  • If All items are imported then all models are imported.
  • Arcs are imported as 2D circular arcs with heights in a line object.
  • Transition curves are imported as transition curves in a line or alignment object.
  • Files created with LISCAD SEE 10.0 or later are supported.
