Create a point at the point of tangency.

Controls
Control Description
Name Type a name for the generated point or click Last name to increment to the next available name. See Naming Options below.
Centre Input the centre vertex for the imaginary circle.
Radius Input a radius for the imaginary circle.
Tangent Intersection Input the point of intersection of the tangents.
Height Method Select one of the following methods to input a height for the end vertex:
  • Default Height - Use the default height for the tangency point.
  • Height - Height of the tangency point.
  • Terrain Model - Height on the terrain model at the point of tangency.
Alternate solution Select the checkbox to create the point at the alternate point of tangency.

Notes
  • Computations are performed in two dimensions only.
Errors or Warnings
Error Description
The computation has no solution The tangent intersection point is not valid for the specified circle.
