Availability: Computations module.
Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Create/Spline command and the Method/Traversing command.
Functionality: Creates a new spline and associated points by entering bearings and distances / slope distances from an existing point to the spline vertices.
The spline to be created will be given the currently defined line attributes and any associated points created, the currently defined point attributes

  • The OK Button creates the current point and associated spline segment.
  • The End Button ends the creation of the current spline and allows a new spline to be started. The rubber band ceases to be attached to the last created point. The next created point will begin a new spline.

Notes:
  • The From Point Identifier control is automatically updated to the last created point identifier after each point is created, but may be altered at any time.
  • The Elevation Drop Down will only be available if the elevation attribute is active.
