From the Computations task, select the Create/Spline command
and the Method/Distance & Offset command.

The OK Button creates the current point
and associated spline segment.

The End Button ends the creation of
the current spline and allows a new spline to be started. The rubber
band ceases to be attached to the last created or selected point.
The next created or selected point will begin a new spline.

The Elevation Control will only be
available if the elevation attribute is active.

If computing in ground distances, the elevation
given to point along the reference direction at the specified distance
will be the elevation of the starting point or the elevation of
the new point, whichever is closer.
