Move by Freehand

Availability: Computations module.
Menu Selection: From the Computations task, select the Edit command and the Move/Copy/Move Point by Freehand command.
Functionality: Moves a point by freehand. This function does not have a dialog. The command is BLOCK sensitive.
Controls:
  • Point Selection. This control is signified by a special cursor Select Object to Move used to select an existing point for moving freehand on the screen. The selection point is defined by the point of the arrow.

  • Point Destination. This control is signified by a special cursor Select Object to Move used to select the destination point on the screen. The destination point is defined by the end of the extended finger.
Notes:
  • The function can be ended by selection another operation or by pressing the 'Esc' key.


  • In single object mode, the first point selected defines the point to be moved and the start of the move vector; the second location selected defines the end of the move vector.


  • In block mode, the first point selected defines only the start of the vector and the points defined by the block will be moved; The second location selected defines the end of the move vector.
