Cursor Use
Default Cursor This is the default cursor when interacting with the LISCAD graphic screen. The appearance, including colour, is configurable using Windows Settings to change the mouse pointer.
Screen viewing
Pan When panning in the current view.
Window When windowing in the current view.
Window When zooming in in the current view.
Window When zooming out in the current view.
Computing in a Plan View
existing object To select an existing object from the screen. When this cursor is displayed, free-hand selection is not permitted.
freehand selection To select a position by freehand on the screen. When this cursor is displayed, you MUST use a snap and accept to select an existing object.
Select Object to Move To select an existing point for moving freehand on the screen.
Moving Object To move a selected point freehand on the screen.
Moving Object To create a polygon by clicking the screen inside the proposed polygon edge lines.
Editing triangles in a Plan View.
Flip Triangle To select and flip the base of an existing triangle.
Select Triangle Base To select the base of an existing triangle when adding a new triangle.
Select Triangle Apex To select the apex of a triangle when adding a new triangle.

Delete Point Displayed when deleting points.
Delete Line Displayed when deleting lines.
Delete Line and Point When deleting lines with their associated points, this cursor is displayed.
Join When joining points.
Move When moving points and their associated lines.
Intersect Segment When intersecting segments.
Intersect Surface When intersecting surfaces.
Examine When examining an object
Insert When inserting a new object
Move Objects between Views When moving objects between views.
Unable to drop Object Displayed when an object is not able to be dropped into a selected view.
