If Create/Line has been selected from the Computations task, then selecting the Method menu will provide the following creation methods. The selected method will stay current until another method is selected. Note that you may change to different methods while creating a line, provided the selected method creates a single point at a time.
Also ensure that the Create/Line Segment option has been set according to the type of line that is to be created.
