This dialog box is displayed after selecting the Text button in the Code Table Editor dialog box accessed via the Tables/Code Table commands.
The dialog box is used to view or edit the text attributes stored against the currently selected feature code in the currently selected code table.
Text attribute settings stored in a code table may be easily accessed via the feature code to quickly predetermine the attributes that are to be applied to new text being created or existing text being edited.

Item | Used to |
Code Table: | Display the selected code table. |
Code: | Display the selected feature code. |
Group: | Key in or select the group attribute. If a new group is entered, that group will be created when the OK button is selected. |
Origin | Select the origin of the text. |
Spacing | Select the text line spacing. |
At | Enter some other line spacing. |
Colour: | Select the colour number of the text. |
Elevation | Toggle the point elevation attribute. If active, text objects may be given an elevation when they are created. |
Italic | Set whether the text is to be in italic. |
Units | Set ground or plan units for text height or width. For Ground units, the text dimensions will then be in meters (or feet) on the ground and scaled accordingly when output from the system to a CAD drawing. |
Height, Width & Direction | Enter the text dimensions and direction. |
