Template Editor - False Column

(This functionality is available with the Profiles and Design Module)

The Template Editor False column is a drop down list which has four options. Just click on the False field to activate the drop down list.

Note that the False field will always be active regardless of whether an Intersecting Surfaces has been entered. Where no intersecting surface has been entered, the resultant outcome is always considered to be False.

Option Result
Nothing: The offset, elevation and grade combination entered will be ignored. This is commonly used as a test to determine what should be done next and can then proceed to the next row of template instructions or optionally go to another row further down the instructions.
Store Offset & Elevation: The offset, elevation and grade combination entered will be used to place a point in the template at this location. A line will be drawn from the last point in the surface to this point.
Move to Offset & Elevation: The offset, elevation and grade combination entered will be used to move the last point in the template surface to this location. A line will be drawn from the previous point in the surface to this point.
Hold Probe Offset & Elevation: The offset, elevation and grade combination entered will be used as a probe point. A dashed line will be drawn from the last point or the last probe point in the template to this point. This line will not form part of the surface but can be used to accumulate tests.

Each time the True drop down list is changed the graphic display of the template will be updated to reflect the change.
