(This functionality is available with the Survey Live module)
Used to access any connected cameras and link images to objects in the SEE project.
If a camera is connected, this page is available from various locations in Survey Live including the Setup, Survey and Setout activities.

Item | Used to |
Capture | Take a photo with the selected camera and store it. The button is enabled when a suitable camera is available. |
Preview | Take a photo with the selected camera but not automatically store it. The photo is not stored until the Store button is pressed. Once the Preview button has been pressed, it is replaced with the Clear button. The Preview button appears again only once the Clear or Store buttons are pressed. |
Store | Store the currently captured image. This button is only enabled once the Preview button has been pressed. |
Clear | Discard the currently captured image without storing it. This button is only visible once the Preview button has been pressed. |
Camera: | Select the camera you wish to use. Available cameras are listed in the pull down menu. |
Linking: | Set the link between the image taken and points in the SEE file. The three available options are; - Link to last point; links the image to the last observed point. - Do not link; no link between the image and any points is made. - Prompt; prompts the user to ask if they wish to link the image to the last observed point. |
Notes: | Viewing and Editing Images All images stored can be viewed and edited via the Edit Photos dialog. Total Station Image support Images from total stations default to 640 x 480 resolution. The resolution can be changed via the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LISTECH\LISCAD\10.x\SEE\SurveyLive\Camera\Resolution Supported values are: - 0 = high resolution (2560 x 1920) - 1 = medium resolution (1280 x 960) - 2 = low resolution (640 x 480) High resolutions can require long capture times. Leica Overview Camera support If you set Survey Live to use the overview camera on the Leica sensor, ensure that you have 'Leica Imaging' and 'GeoCom Imaging' licenses and an SD card in the instrument to store the photo. Camera/Web Cam support Only one active Windows camera is supported. If you have surplus cameras enabled, they need to disabled via the Device Manager in Windows, otherwise you will only get black images. |
