(This functionality is available with the Input / Output module)
This range of instruments uses PCMCIA cards to store the data.
To transfer between the TPS-1100 and the system, you must have either a PCMCIA card drive installed in or connected to your computer, and the appropriate device drivers already loaded, OR the data from the card stored in a storage location that can be browsed to. Refer to your PCMCIA card drive manual for details of these drivers..
When using the Field Transfer/Input/Data Recorder or the Field Transfer/Output/Data Recorder commands with a TPS-1100 series device selected, ensure that the selection for the Comms Settings Port is FILE. This will facilitate a browse dialog that can be used to select the data in the desired storage location, including the PCMCIA card if the drive is installed on your computer.
The Input and output operations transfer the data from or to the selected storage location.
Note that you may alternatively use Leica Survey Office to download from the TPS-1100.
Operation Code Support and data formats
The Leica TPS-1100 Series supports all the LEICA/WILD Operation Codes via Code Blocks.
Two sample code lists (LCP1100A.CRF and LCP1100N.CRF for alpha and numeric coding) for use on the TPS-1100 are installed in the default User folder. These code lists can be uploaded to the TPS-1100 using Leica Survey Office, and support all the LISCAD operation codes. You may also create, edit and upload alternative code lists using Leica Survey Office to suit your particular needs.
