User Folder

The user folder is where the system stores and looks for the following types of files.

There are 2 categories of user files. User files that are language independent should be placed in the root of the User Folder. User files that are language dependent should be placed in a language sub-folder that corresponds to the language that LISCAD is configured for. The 2 character sub-folder name should correspond with the ISO 2 letter country codes.
E.g. English (UK) should be in the "uk" sub-folder, English (US) should be in the "us" sub-folder, Spanish should be in the "es" sub-folder etc.

The User Folder must always be set to the language independent User Folder root, not the language dependent sub-folder.

Note: If you change the User Folder location, you must ensure that all User Folder files and sub folders are copied to the new User Folder location.

Language Independent Files

Language Dependent Files

By default, the user folder is the Common Application Data Folder.

The User Folder can be changed by selecting Configure/Folders.
