| And |

| Point |
Input the point whose location will be used to insert a new point into the long section.
Note:
- Press Ctrl then click in the long section view to insert a new point by freehand.
|
|
| Notes |
- When selecting the Long Section, place the mouse pointer over the segment where the point is to be inserted. This will automatically insert the correct vertical intersection point id in the Between and And boxes.
- If you manually input the Between and And points, ensure that the points are consecutive.
- An existing point of type 'Circular' or 'Parabola' will behave like a grade point if a point is inserted into the long section that prevents a curve from being computed at the existing intersection point. You can decrease the curve length in the Attributes tool window.
- Click OK to create a new grade point at the same distance and height as the Point. The newly created point is associated with the Long Section.
- A point can be associated with one long section only.
