Display the grade between two vertices.

Control Description
Method Reference Line - Input the Reference Line.
From - Input the from vertex.
Note:
  • If you pick a line from the model view to fill the Reference Line box the vertices at either end of the picked segment are used.
To Input the 'To' vertex.
Distance The distance between the reference lines start and end vertices or the 'From' and 'To' vertices.
Difference Height Displays the difference in orthometric height.
Slope distance Displays the slope distance between the two vertices.
Grade (%) The grade between the two vertices as a percentage.
Grade (Ratio) The grade between the two vertices as a ratio.
Grade (Angle) The vertical angle between the two vertices.
OK Click the button if the vertices are typed into the box.
Notes
  • A grade is computed when the vertices at both ends of the line include a height.
  • Configure the Distance Type in Units Options.
  • If a user coordinate system is selected the difference in Z is displayed.
