Notes
  • Click OK to create section markers.
  • Interval section markers are created at chainages that are a multiple of the interval.
  • Intervals are computed using the current units and distance type.
  • Add section markers after the design of your horizontal alignment is complete.
  • If you do edit the alignment, you should review all section markers. The following edits to section markers may occur:
    • Interval section markers retain their chainage and are moved to the correct location on the edited alignment.
    • The chainage for horizontal section markers are recomputed. You will need to add new section markers for any new key points in the alignment.
    • Removing a key point in the alignment will delete the section marker associated with the vertex.
  • If the alignments chainage equation is edited:
    • Interval section markers chainages are updated and the location on the alignment is unchanged.
    • Horizontal section marker chainages are recomputed.
    • Vertical key point and vertical sag/crest section marker chainages are recomputed.
Possible errors
